Differences Between Industrial 4G WIFI Router and Common 4G Router

1.Components
The components of industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers are all of the industrial level. From the main control chip, the PCB to the outer shell, if any component has not reached the industrial level, then the end-products cannot be called industrial grade products. Industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers can adapt to every harsh environment of the industrial control field, and also have good high-temperature resistance and low-temperature resistance, and these characteristics are also the requirements of industrial products.

2.Working temperature
The requirements of industrial 4G WiFi router for working temperature is also the requirements for the components. The common working temperature of industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers ranges from -35℃ to 75 ℃, while that of the civilian 4G routers is from -10℃ to 60 ℃. The normal room temperature can satisfy both of them, while the civilian 4G routers cannot be applied to the harsh environment of the industrial control field. And the winter temperature of the ordinary outdoor public areas may also not satisfy their working temperature needs.

3.Functions

As industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers are applied to the industrial control field, they need more powerful functions. Apart from large bandwidth, swift response, they also have functions such as port mapping, VPN, watchdog, stronger firewall protection, electrostatic protection, etc. However, as long as the civilian 4G routers can provide Internet accesses, they are qualified.

4.Stability
The high stability of industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers cannot be reached by common 4G routers. Industrial 4G Wi-Fi routers can operate for a long time without any fault, and they can automatically recover the network when the network fails. The common civil 4G routers are unable to work for a long time, especially in the rainy and snowy days. The common 4G routers that have worked for a long time are easy to malfunction and cause Internet disconnection. Usually, common 4G routers are also prone to failure after running for just a period of time.
